The problem with caps
Most caps are built to survive a shelf, not a life. Thin twill, glued brims, a crown that collapses the first time it meets a car seat. We started because every black cap we owned looked tired inside a season.

Buckram, brass, and time
The fixes are old and unglamorous. Buckram behind the front panels so the crown stands. Brass hardware left unlacquered so it dulls instead of chipping. Cotton heavy enough to hold a shape and soft enough to earn one.

Made to age, not to last
Nothing we sell looks its best on day one. Raw denim fades along the roll of the brim. Unlined suede darkens where your thumb goes. The cap you own in a year is the point of the cap you buy today.
